Orco Bank proudly shined as the Main Sponsor and Presenting Partner of the 2026 Ride for the Roses, a vibrant multisport event held on Sunday, January 25, 2026, across Curaçao. The annual event united thousands of participants for a day dedicated to movement, solidarity, and raising
awareness for cancer research.
Blending sport with purpose, Ride for the Roses continues to inspire healthier lifestyles while bringing together individuals from all walks of life in support of a shared cause. A highly visible and enthusiastic highlight of the day was Orco Bank’s Cheer Corridor at Marie Pampoen, where participants were welcomed with energy, encouragement, and excitement. Orco Bank employees lined the route, creating an uplifting atmosphere that motivated walkers, runners, and cyclists alike as they made their way through this key point of the course. The Cheer Corridor reflected the bank’s hands-on
involvement and its dedication to actively supporting community-driven initiatives.
As part of its sponsorship, Orco Bank enabled cancer survivors to participate in the event of their choosing by sponsoring their registration. Participants selected either the 5KM or 8.1KM route, both concluding with a festive finish at Mambo Beach Boulevard. This initiative highlighted the bank’s strong focus on inclusion, compassion, and support for those affected by cancer.
The 2026 edition welcomed more than 6,000 participants, all coming together to celebrate strength, perseverance, and hope. Another meaningful moment was Orco Bank’s photobooth, where participants captured memories and shared their involvement in Ride for the Roses 2026 across social media.
