Protect yourself from Fraud

Protect yourself from fraud

Beware of requests via email that can appear to be legitimate but are not. These requests are popularly called “phishing”.

If you are ever asked to log in to your online banking credentials to a different site, it is most likely a phishing attempt to gain your information. We recommend:

Do not open suspicious messages. Popular email subjects of phishing mails are; invoice, document, scan, mail delivery failure, order, personal info, and payment.

Always check with your bank if the questions asked are legitimate.

Do not download anything you don’t trust.

Do not share personal information, such as your PIN number or login password.

If you are unsure, or would like to report a phishing attempt please contact your branch, or email us at info@orcobank.com for assistance.
