What documents do I need to open a Personal Account?
To open an account, you need a valid government-issued ID (passport, or national ID), proof of income (salary slip), and proof of address (utility bill or bank statement).

I am new to Orco Bank. Can I open an account online?
Yes! We have created the ideal onboarding experience for you. You can apply to open a NEW account online. Simply click here and follow the steps provided. You will receive the necessary guidance throughout the application form.
NOTE: you will need an active email account to apply for an account at Orco Bank. At the beginning of the application process, you will receive an email to authenticate your email address.

I am an existing Orco Bank customer, can I apply for a new account online?
Yes! As an existing Orco Bank customer, you have the option to open new accounts through Orco Bank Online.
Simply follow these steps:
- Log in to your Orco Bank Online web environment,
- Click on the + New Account button, located at the right top corner of your screen, to initiate the request for a new account,
- Select from the list of available products.

Do I have to visit the Orco Bank office as part of the application process?
Yes, you will need to visit a branch to complete the process, in most cases the application process will be concluded upon your personal visit for a Face-to-Face verification.

For which countries does the Online Application form apply?
The application form is applicable for all islands where Orco Bank operates, namely Curaçao, Bonaire and Sint Maarten.

Can a Minor apply using the Online Application form?
Yes, a Minor (18 years or younger) can always apply, together with an adult (direct parent or caregiver). During the process, the parent/caregiver needs to register first (as parent/caregiver), followed by the minor.

How long does the account opening process take?
The processing time may vary depending on the type of account you are requesting. Generally, it takes 2 - 3 business days to verify your documents and open your account.

Is there a minimum balance requirement for a basic Current or Savings account?
We offer a variety of account options, including those with no minimum balance requirements. Details on account types and requirements are available on our website.

How many days, after my account application is activated, can I get access to Orco Bank Online and Orco Bank App?
As soon as your new Orco Bank account has been activated, you will receive an email with instructions to activate your Orco Bank App and Orco Bank Online.

How can I access my account online?
Once your account is open, you can access it through Orco Bank Online Banking and the Orco Bank App. During the account application process, you will create your own username. To activate your online banking access, you will need to create your password as part of the activation process for Orco Bank Online Banking or the Orco Bank App.

Is my personal information safe and secure?
Yes, we take the security and privacy of your information seriously. We use advanced security measures to protect your data, and our online systems are encrypted to ensure your information remains confidential.

Can I apply for a Credit Card or loans during onboarding?
During the process of opening an account, you will not have the option to add loan product. However, you can apply for Credit Cards and loans using our digital request forms available on www.orcobank.com/loans. Our website provides information on the types of Credit Cards and loan products available.

What is the process for receiving an Orco Bank Debit Card?
During the application process, you can request to receive an Orco Bank Mastercard Debit Card. Once your account is approved and ready for Face-to-face verification at our branch, you will receive an email with instructions to pick-up your Orco Bank Mastercard Debit Card. Upon identification process and picking up of the Orco bank MasterDebit Card, you will be guided with the necessary instructions to activate your card.

How do I enroll in Orco Bank Online and Orco Bank App?
To enroll in online banking and mobile apps, visit our website or download the app from your device's app store. Follow the registration process and set up your credentials.

Which identification document should I upload?
Please upload only one identification document.
• Residents using a Passport: Upload your Passport and a valid Registry Office document.
• Residents using a Sedula: Upload only your Sedula (e.g. local identification).
• Non-Residents: Upload only your Passport and indicate your local ties to the island.
Uploading the correct document helps us process your application faster.

Some information was not filled in automatically after uploading my ID. What should I do?
Please review all fields carefully and complete any missing information, such as:
• ID number. When entering your ID number, do not use dots or special characters.
• Expiration Date
• Other personal details that may not have been recognized automatically

I have multiple First Names. Which one should I enter?
Please enter only your first given name exactly as it appears on your valid identification document. If you have multiple first names, enter only the first given name. Do not include middle names, additional first names, or special characters (such as apostrophes, hyphens, accents, tildes, umlauts/trema, or other diacritical marks). The name entered should match the first given name displayed on the final review page.

I have multiple last names or a maiden name. What should I enter?
Please enter only your primary last name exactly as it appears on your valid identification document. If you have multiple last names, enter only the primary last name. Do not include your maiden name, additional last names, or special characters (such as apostrophes, hyphens, accents, tildes, umlauts/trema, or other diacritical marks). The name entered should match the last name displayed on the final review page.

What date format should I use?
All dates must be entered in the following format:
MM/DD/YYYY
Example: 12/31/2026

I received a message saying my information does not match. What should I do?
If you receive an error message indicating that your information does not align:
• Return to the beginning of the application.
• Review all information entered.
• Ensure that the details you entered match the information shown on the final review page and your uploaded documents.
• Once everything matches, submit your application again.

I received an "Application Expired" email. What does this mean?
If you receive an email stating that your application has expired, you will need to start a new account opening application.

How recent must my supporting documents be?
The following documents must be issued within the last 2 months:
• Proof of income
• Proof of address
• Registry Office document
Documents older than 2 months cannot be accepted.

What is the difference between Small Business Apply and Other Business Types Apply?
Small Business:
To apply as a Sole Proprietorship or Corporation and (Private) Limited Liability Company with registered shares (N.V / V.B.A. / B.V.).
Other Business Types:
To apply as a Corporate in one of the following legal structures: Maatschap, V.O.F., C.V., N.V., B.V., V.B.A., or another legal structure.

What does each application type cater to?
Small Business:
Caters to individuals or entities operating as Sole Proprietorships, Corporations, or (Private) Limited Liability Companies with specific registered share structures such as N.V, V.B.A, or B.V. Note: companies with only individuals as shareholders/related parties.
Other Business Types:
Designed for larger entities operating as Corporates under various legal structures including Maatschap, V.O.F., C.V., N.V., B.V., V.B.A., or other similar structures. Note: companies with one or more businesses as shareholders/related parties.

How can I start the process of opening a Business Account?
Small Business:
For Sole Proprietorships or specific Limited Liability Companies, click 'Apply' under Small Business and fill in the Business Application Forms.
Other Business Types:
For larger entities under different legal structures, click 'APPLY' under Other Business Types Business Apply to access the relevant application forms.

What happens after I submit my application?
Once your application is submitted through either Small Business or Other Business Types, an Officer will contact you to proceed with the account opening process.
